I will miss my dear friend Verna, we didn’t see each other a lot now, but in the past we had many good Chinese Supper dates at Ancaster, then later we got together at the Mandarin. After I moved & we no longer saw each other, we had phone calls to catch up on life’s happenings. She was a wonderful person & we always had lots to talk about & a few good laughs. I know she thought the world of her brother Jack who was always there for her. I knew her health had not good for sometime. Rest in peace Verna until we meet again.
(Verna & I became friends thru Don who I worked with many years)
To all Verna’s Family. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad & difficult time.Someone so special can never be forgotten. We miss seeing Verna and brother Jack walking down town .
I remember Verna from when her mom Audrey aka Mrs Hood babysat me. Then years later she and Jack came into my triage bay at St Joseph Hospital. If I had a shift at Margaret Place recently our paths would have crossed again as that is where I work now. 💞 so sorry to all of you for your loss. She will forever part of my childhood memories. Hugs to all who loved her
