You and Emil were so gracious and supportive during my recent loss.
Lots of love and prayers to you and your family during this difficult time.
Emil, everyone talks about of how awesome& how a wonderful person you are…, indeed , YOU ARE ALL WHAT PEOPLE DESCRIBES YOU TO BE… a loving, caring husband to my sister, Maggie. A good brother in- law to my sister, Digna, a generous & kind uncle, a protective & caring brother …, and to us,( my family,) you are one great brother in- law & uncle to my kids… it is with disbelief knowing of your passing away, a shock to all of us , YET, OUR LOSS IS HEAVEN’S GAIN… surely, you will be missed but it is with consolation knowing that heaven had gained another angel to watch over us… with this, I pray that heaven open its gates for you and angels to welcome you home…
Uncle Emil had a special way of making people feel seen and valued, and I will always remember him for the warmth he gave so freely. His legacy of love and generosity will live on in all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.
Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you Tita Maggie during this difficult time. I hope you can find comfort in the cherished memories and the lasting impact he made on so many lives.
Today, I want to honor the memory of my Uncle Emil. Though we did not see each other often, he made my childhood truly memorable. I still remember my first visit to Canada, where he introduced me to the game Battleship. Something I cherish and still carry with me to this day. He also taught us the word “Kaput!”, which always made us laugh, and is something I will never forget.
Uncle Emil was kind, funny, and full of life. As a child, I sometimes struggled to keep up with his fast words, but even then, I knew his presence brought warmth and joy. I was looking forward to visiting you again, or for you to visit us here in the Philippines, but though your passing came suddenly, the memories you gave me will stay forever.
Whenever I travel and see postcards, I think of you, Uncle Emil, because Tita Maggie told us how much you loved letters and cards. I also remember that you enjoyed pili nuts, mall reminders of you that make me smile even now.
Thank you, Uncle Emil, for being such a special part of my childhood, and thank you for being the love of Tita Maggie’s life. You brought happiness not only to us, but most especially to her.
I will deeply miss you, Uncle Emil. Thank you for the laughter, the lessons, and the love.
Emil was so warm and welcoming to us and his kindness left a lasting impression. We are truly grateful for the memories we shared with him.
For all the good times bad ones and anything in between you were always there for support and guidance for me and my family a brother in law that stood by me no matter what somebody I trusted and can depend on like my own big brother best friends with my husband a caring and loving uncle to our children from birth! It’s such a privilege to have you and Maggie in our life. Words can’t describe how we appreciate you for everything you’ve done to enrich our wellbeing . Left us too soon but rest assured we will always remember you in our hearts forever. RIP Emil
