Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on October 27, 2023 in his 88th year. Beloved spouse of Dorothy. Loving father to Louise (Richard), Doug (Tracey) and Allen (Tracey). Caring grandfather of Jeremy (Christie), Ryan (Jess), Branden (Haley) and Brittany. Will be sadly missed by lifelong friend Gail Haddleton. Friends and family are invited to Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St. Dundas, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm for a visitation. A Funeral Service will be held at Turner Family Funeral Home on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Uncle Gord was always my favorite uncle. Gord was always caring and interested in what we were doing, as we grew up, and a true confidant as we grew older.
I will miss him.
No matter the age or circumstance losing your dad always leaves a big hole. Very very sorry your loss.
I worked with Gord in Plant Stores at ArcelorMittal Dofasco (Dofasco) for many years. Gord was very well respected as a leader (Foreman) and very much liked by his team members. I regarded him not just as a supportive leader but also as my dear friend.
