Passed peacefully the morning of December 2nd, in her 87th year, at Juravinski Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed by her children: Diane Lassaline (William), Michael McClure (Heather), her grandchildren Samantha, Andrew, Joshua, and Amy. Also survived by her sister Dorothy Sipocz (John), her brother Larry Hayhurst (Joan), and her many cousins, nephews and nieces. Mom’s favourite hymn was Blessed Assurance which continues, “Jesus Is Mine. Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine.” Rest peacefully, Barbara, in the fullness of God’s divine glory and love. There will be a Time of Remembrance held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the Canadian Cancer Society would gratefully accept your donations.
Dear McClure and Hayhurst Families, please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of dear Barbara. “Barb” was a faithful member of my Chedoke Ladies Fitness Group. I loved our after class chitchats. She was a lovely Lady and I will miss her.
