Passed away at St. Joseph’s hospital on Friday, June 19, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Jackie (nee Bytheway) for over 49 years. Loving father to Michael and Megan (Ken) Jones. Caring grandfather to Iris Jones. Cremation has taken place. Due to the restrictions of COVID a private graveside service will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. James Anglican Church would be greatly appreciated.
It is with my deepest sympathies to you Jackie and your family on your loss. God bless you in this time of sorrow.
Bob Disher,
Our deepest sympathy to you Jackie and your family. I, in particular, have many fond memories of Bob as we were growing up on Flatt Avenue. We had a number of adventures as young men ,and we both went into the teaching profession.
Sincerely, Bob and Pat Disher

Dear Jackie, Megan, and Michael, my heart goes out to you in this most difficult time. Warm memories of the good times are a beautiful tribute to the life you’ve shared together.
I remember Bob so well from early years at Mohawk College (70’s and 80’s). He always had a warm smile and greeting and made you feel valued. I was very impressed when Bob arrived at the College on his motorcycle. I was envious, but of course women did not arrive at Mohawk College on motorcycles in those years.
My condolences to Jackie and family as they grieve their loss.
Rest in Peace, Bob.
Margot and I are very sorry to learn that Bob has passed. I remember many great times with Bob as we both played in the Argyll Pipes and Drums band in our younger days. Our thoughts are with Bob’s family.
Jackie
