Karen and I (Ken) were shocked and saddened by this news.
I knew Ian years before we became cousins-in-law through Anita. I was living in Leamington at the time (not my home town) and was looking for parts to build a custom fishing rod. When he found out I lived there, he asked if I knew Anita. Not being from Leamington, I did not. Building custom fishing rods became a bit of a hobby for me. Even travelling to where he worked to pick up parts. As serendipity would have it, I met and married Anita’s cousin.
We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to you Anita, your family and Ian’s family as well.
We were saddened to learn of the passing of Ian. We were friends of Ian and Anita when we lived in Ancaster prior to 17 years ago. We remember good times with Ian and Anita at their home in Dundas and at our place and at Hamilton Mennonite Church. Our condolences to Anita and Ian’s family.
