February 27, 1924 – October 6, 2019
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Elfriede Breitmaier (Klinger). She was a beautiful person both inside and out. Mom always put her family first and loved her family dearly. Elfriede had a number of accomplishments. She worked as a seamstress in a sewing factory before dedicating herself to being a homemaker and taking care of all of us. She was an accomplished gardener, baker, pastry chef, and prided herself on cooking everything from scratch. Elfriede also enjoyed swimming, biking, walking, and of course, dancing. She loved living in Point Clark in the summer and spending winters in Florida. She is predeceased by her husband (Gordon Breitmaier). Loving mother to Janet Breitmaier and Rein (Char) Breitmaier, and loving Oma to two generations Robyn (Luigi) Bruni and their children, Keele, Tiziano and Idina, and Taryn Breitmaier and son Dexter, sister to Ed Klinger. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Emma Klinger. A celebration of life will take place at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St. in Dundas, ON, October 16, 2019 with visitation at 1pm, and a service at 2pm.
Aunt Elfriede was a beautiful person, and I have a lot of great memories of her big laugh, her wonderful cooking, and her boundless energy. We were so happy that she and Gord visited us in Prince Edward Island and will always remember her with great fondness.
My sympathies…
Condolences to you, Janet, and the rest of the family on the passing of your mother. She was indeed a lady.
Sincerely, Barb
Dearest Janet, deepest sympathies and much love. You will always be a terrific daughter and friend. All of my thoughts are for you. Biggest hugs.
Our Condolences, What I remember most about Elfriede was her telling Gord, come on, let’s go weither it was for a walk or bike ride. We will miss her.

My deepest condolences. Your mom could not have asked for a kinder more loving daughter. You fought for her life and your mom beat the odds.
Thinking of you in your time of loss.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
Richard Girard
On behalf of the entire Girard family, I offer our deepest sympathies. She will be missed by many friends from Point Clark. Elfriede and Gord always stopped and chatted on their many walks and were great friends with my parents.
