Passed away peacefully in her 94th year with her family by her side at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on June 23, 2019. She was predeceased by Joseph, her loving husband of 59 years, and daughter Ann; also predeceased by brothers Ted and Bill, and sister Leona. She is fondly remembered by her sister Marion, her children Mary Ellen, Ted, Jane (Andrew) and Joan (Rob), son-in-law Kevin and her grandchildren Katie, Sammy, Jamie, Shannon, Mary and Jodi. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday, July 23rd from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Funeral Mass will take place at ST. AUGUSTINE’S CHURCH, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas on Wednesday, July 24th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a short reception in the church hall. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will be attended by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul or Leprosy Mission Canada would be appreciated.
