Wilson, Donald Phillip

On June 13, 2019, the Wilson family lost Don Wilson who peacefully passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital. Don had a full life and lived his life the way he wanted to. Don was born on May 26, 1945 in Hamilton to parents Jim & Jean Wilson followed by Lynda and Dennis. Don will missed by Dennis & wife Susan along with their children Ashleigh, Aaron & his wife Kendra; sister Lynda and her two daughters Christina & husband Rob; and Amanda & husband Ross and their 2 children Jimmy and Danny. Don loved music (everything from rock to classical), smoking a Cuban cigar, and sipping on a nice glass of scotch or brandy. He was an avid cross country skier and cyclist and had many great trips all over Canada and the US with his biking and skiing friends. Don was a great uncle, brother, and friend to so many people in the Hamilton area. He got pleasure out of helping others, and he enjoyed spending his time hanging out with friends at various bars and restaurants while watching football. Don loved driving and fixing his cars, and is most likely driving his Datsun 280 Z right now in heaven. According to Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service however, a “Celebration of Life” will be held Tuesday June 18, 2019 from 4:00 until 6:00 at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Please bring a nice story to share with us. Cheers to you Don!
