Penny – my mother Jean Hunt (Smith) of Aylmer was Bob’s cousin. Her mom Edna Pearl Smith was your grandfather Herman’s sister. Our family met Bob and Marilyn a few times. We always enjoyed visiting with them when we had the chance. I attended your mom’s funeral. Our mom Jean is in a nursing home in Aylmer. She is 89.
On behalf of our family “The Hunts” we send our condolences to you and your family. Enjoy the great memories your dad has left for you.
All the best.
Don Hunt, Waterloo
My deep condolences to Bobs family at this sad time.I briefly knew Bob at Heritage Meadows in Cambridge where he was beloved by many.
He was always the first to volunteer for any task and quietly went about his many helpful moments, until it was time for Bingo. We missed him when he left to go to Dundas.
RIP Bob,the other Penny Smith.,
Dear Penny and Steve
We were sorry to read in the paper of Penny’s father’s passing.

I am so saddened by the passing of Uncle Bob. I have countless memories of time spent with he and Aunt Marilyn. He had a super sense of humour and a love of life with all it had to offer. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Penny, Steve and family. I know you all have enough fond memories to last a lifetime.
We are so sorry to hear of “Bingo” Bob’s passing. We moved him and Marilyn into Heritage Meadows and were sad when Marilyn passed away and when Bob moved out of our community. He will be missed.
