Poyner, Lynda Lee (nee Fuller)

September 24, 1949 – May 9, 2018

Poyner, Lynda Lee –  passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on May 9th , 2018 at the age of 68. Remembered by husband James Poyner, son John Poyner , his wife Melissa Poyner and grandchildren Trinity and Randy Richmond, step sons Raymond Poyner , his wife Debra Poyner and Timothy Poyner, sister Eleanor Emery and her husband Jim Emery and nieces Kerry, Michelle and families, and sister in law to Pat and Bob Poyner and their families. Predeceased by mother and father (Arthur and Eilleen Fuller), brother (Denis Fuller) and step daughter Lisa Wannop Poyner, missed by all other family as well. There will be no funeral service but a celebration of life will be held in June ,date to be announced. Donations can be made to the Lung Association and would be greatly appreciated by family.

Wilson, Georgina Margaret “Midge” (nee Rayner)

April 13, 1923 – May 12, 2018

Passed away on Saturday May 12, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Ralph “Donald” Wilson. Loving mother of Adrienne (Ed) Rickus, Jeannette (Bob) Baynton, and Patricia “Trish” (Don) James. Caring grandmother to David, Lee-Anne, Matthew, Stephanie, Andrew and great-grandmother to Ethan, Kellan, Cole, Madison, Grace, Jack, Ella, Bennett and Conor. Sister to May (Roy) Heslop, Bill Rayner (Predeceased)  and Marie McDonough (Predeceased) and sister-in-law to Pat Rayner, Jean Wilson, Marie Wilson. Midge will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. She was a life-long member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Dundas. The family would like to give special thanks to Bertram Place for their care over the last 3 years. Friends will be received by the family on Wednesday May 16 from 7 – 9p.m. at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St, Dundas. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday May 17 at 12:00p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church, 23 Melville St, Dundas. In lieu of flowers, donations to Knox Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.

deLottinville, Joseph Bruce

August 25, 1926 – May 8, 2018

deLottinville, Joseph Bruce – With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our patriarch, Joseph Bruce, on Tuesday, May 8, in his 91st year.  Bruce has gone on to reunite with the love of his life, Lillian Irene (predeceased by 8 months).  Left to mourn are children, Carl (Linda), Brian (Christina) and Karen; grandchildren, Scott (Amber), Ryan (Ericka), Zachary and Sean (Margaret); and great-grandchildren, Angel, Aiden, Lily, Maya and Arya.  Bruce will also be missed by siblings Ed, Joyce, Leona and Wayne plus many deLottinville and Pearson family members.  Predeceased by siblings, Dorothy, Cliff, Winnifred, Blanche, Helen, Mary, Margie, Audrey, Mildred, Rita, Maude and Howard.  Bruce and Lillian shared a full life on their farm on Sulphur Springs Road for over 60 years as well as working together at Bruce’s TV and Walker’s Hardware before retiring to Creekside Drive in Dundas in the past few years.  Together, they helped dedicate deLottinville Park in Dundas, at the site of the farm where Bruce was raised, and were both active members of the Dundas Baptist Church and the Ancaster Historical Society.  Bruce was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Masonic Lodge.  Special thanks to Gold Cross Home Healthcare (Sandi, Diane and Pearl), Amica, St. Joseph’s Hospital, emergency support services, residents of 4000 Creekside Drive for all the special care for both our parents and our family.  Many thanks to Uncle Wayne for his unending support and companionship for Bruce in the past few years.  Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. until the time of Bruce’s Service at 11 a.m. at the DUNDAS BAPTIST CHURCH (201 Governor’s Road, Dundas) with lunch to follow at the church.  Private interment will take place.  In lieu of flowers, donations kindly accepted for the Dundas Baptist Church “Roof Fund” or ZPFH (Zachary’s Paws for Healing).

Boswell, Nancy Elizabeth (nee Fleischer) 

June 8, 1931 – April 26, 2018

 

The family of Nancy Elizabeth Boswell is deeply saddened to announce her recent passing on April 26, 2018 at Hamilton General Hospital. Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Walter Edward “Ozzie” Boswell and is survived by her seven adoring children; David (Kathi), John, Caroline (David ), Jennifer, Mary ( Allen), Judy ( Mark) and Christopher ( Karen), nineteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her brother and sister-in-law , Claude and Mary (Boswell) Cornu of Park City, Utah. Nancy, of Ingersoll, Ontario, was predeceased by her two brothers Ted (Janet) and Jack. Nancy will be remembered as very devoted to her family and friends with a kind and loving heart. The family wishes to thank both The Villages of Wentworth Heights and Hamilton General Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario for their recent compassionate care of Nancy. Cremation has taken place.
