deLottinville, Joseph Bruce – With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our patriarch, Joseph Bruce, on Tuesday, May 8, in his 91st year.  Bruce has gone on to reunite with the love of his life, Lillian Irene (predeceased by 8 months).  Left to mourn are children, Carl (Linda), Brian (Christina) and Karen; grandchildren, Scott (Amber), Ryan (Ericka), Zachary and Sean (Margaret); and great-grandchildren, Angel, Aiden, Lily, Maya and Arya.  Bruce will also be missed by siblings Ed, Joyce, Leona and Wayne plus many deLottinville and Pearson family members.  Predeceased by siblings, Dorothy, Cliff, Winnifred, Blanche, Helen, Mary, Margie, Audrey, Mildred, Rita, Maude and Howard.  Bruce and Lillian shared a full life on their farm on Sulphur Springs Road for over 60 years as well as working together at Bruce’s TV and Walker’s Hardware before retiring to Creekside Drive in Dundas in the past few years.  Together, they helped dedicate deLottinville Park in Dundas, at the site of the farm where Bruce was raised, and were both active members of the Dundas Baptist Church and the Ancaster Historical Society.  Bruce was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Masonic Lodge.  Special thanks to Gold Cross Home Healthcare (Sandi, Diane and Pearl), Amica, St. Joseph’s Hospital, emergency support services, residents of 4000 Creekside Drive for all the special care for both our parents and our family.  Many thanks to Uncle Wayne for his unending support and companionship for Bruce in the past few years.  Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. until the time of Bruce’s Service at 11 a.m. at the DUNDAS BAPTIST CHURCH (201 Governor’s Road, Dundas) with lunch to follow at the church.  Private interment will take place.  In lieu of flowers, donations kindly accepted for the Dundas Baptist Church “Roof Fund” or ZPFH (Zachary’s Paws for Healing).
