June 8, 1931 – April 26, 2018
The family of Nancy Elizabeth Boswell is deeply saddened to announce her recent passing on April 26, 2018 at Hamilton General Hospital. Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Walter Edward “Ozzie” Boswell and is survived by her seven adoring children; David (Kathi), John, Caroline (David ), Jennifer, Mary ( Allen), Judy ( Mark) and Christopher ( Karen), nineteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her brother and sister-in-law , Claude and Mary (Boswell) Cornu of Park City, Utah. Nancy, of Ingersoll, Ontario, was predeceased by her two brothers Ted (Janet) and Jack. Nancy will be remembered as very devoted to her family and friends with a kind and loving heart. The family wishes to thank both The Villages of Wentworth Heights and Hamilton General Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario for their recent compassionate care of Nancy. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Nancy’s life will take place on Saturday June 9, at 2:00 at The Dundas Museum and Archives, 139 Park St W., Dundas, Ont. L9H 1X8 https://dundasmuseum.ca/. Donations in Nancy’s memory can be made to The Alzheimer Society.
Deepest condolences to the family. Loosing your parents is very hard because now you can’t ask them questions and get answers. Love each other and remember the good times.

What a beautiful picture of your mom. We spent many fun times together – always loads of laughs. She loved being a mom, grandmother and great grandmother and was amazing in her memory of all of your birthdates. Whenever we went out on an adventure, she would be picking up something for one of you. She truly enjoyed life and I will certainly miss our times together. May you find comfort in all of the memories you share.

I was fortunate to meet Nancy many times, and always felt how much of a lady she was, and respected her for her love of her family and for putting up with Ozzie’s antics! Having attended Ozzie’s celebration last year, I know that you will share your love and memories at the celebration, and I am very sorry to be out of the country at the time. My thoughts and wishes are with Nancy and Ozzie’s family. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the celebration of Nancy’s life on Saturday. My memories of the two of them are very bright and happy. It was obvious that they created and maintained a very loving family. I met them when Ozzie joined the staff at Mohawk and we maintained a relationship long after we had both retired. I miss our meetings in the local Food Basics as we both lived just down the road from it. Just remember the happy times – I know there were many.
