Your Mom was always smiling and gracious and I had many good times with her since returning to Hamilton. She and I golfed with my mom and Bill many times and she was the peacemaker in the group. It was lovely to see all of you her children and grandchildren that she loved so much standing with her over the last few weeks. She was so happy and so peaceful knowing how loved she was. When we referred to her strength as Pitt Grit it makes us all smile because we feel that we have inherited that strength from these very strong women. Aunt Mary had great faith and knew that she was going from your arms to the arms of the Lord and that is everything. God Bless You All!
I met Mary for the first time when she hosted a bridal shower for my daughter, Lisa in honour of her upcoming wedding to her grandson, David. In the past few years I’ve enjoyed our conversations at family gatherings and learned that Mary was a lady with strong beliefs, one of them being in family tradition. Mary will be one of God’s new angels.
Our deepest condolences on the loss of your mom. Our prayers are with you.
My condolences on the loss of your Mother …my thoughts are with you.
