May 29, 1917 – January 26, 2018

Inglis, Grace (nee Jackman) – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on January 26th, 2018 at the age of 100. Thanks to St. Joseph’s Villa for the excellent care these past 4 years. Beloved wife of the late Earl. Loving mother of Dorothea McLean, Earl, and Katie Fanning (John). Predeceased by daughter Suzanne Catt (Harold) and son Douglas. Dear sister of Robert (Linda).  Predeceased by sisters Mary, Doris Alcock, Treasure Gibb and brothers Douglas, Donald and William. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.  She was an active member of Dundas Baptist Church for over 50 years where she served as deacon and enjoyed many years assisting with Helping Hands. She had an eclectic work history which included owning and operating the Clothes Closet consignment shop in Dundas, during the 80’s, also she was with the Guelph Mercury Newspaper and coordinated demonstrators for Mattel toys.  A celebration of a life well lived will take place at DUNDAS BAPTIST CHURCH, 201 Governors Road, Dundas on Saturday, February 3rd at 2:00 p.m., with visitation at the church at 1:00.
