Millie was always a sight for sore eyes for big dumb Handy Movers when we returned to the warehouse after a long day of drinking and moving things. She would always welcome us with a smile and a story. Sometimes she would have Scott and Jackie there with her, and you could tell that everything else was secondary to her family. She was a sweet woman, and will be will always be remembered fondly by this big dumb Handy Mover.
Millie will be sadly missed. She was my bestfriend and will be in my heart and thoughts forever. She has a wonderful family and hopefully they know I will be there if they need me.
I am so sad to hear about Millie. I have fun filled memories, working with her, at a downtown mortgage company, 49 years ago. We reunited 4 years ago at Giant Tiger, met for a coffee and got caught up on our lives. She proudly talked about her family. I will miss seeing her smiling face and sense of humor! To Scott and Jackie, your mom was a wonderful person and I am so sorry for your loss.

I was so so shocked to hear of Millie’s passing. Millie was a friend to me from the time I moved from London 35 years ago. We had a lot of good laughs over the years. In spite of hardships, she could always make me laugh. Millie was proud of her heritage and often spoke of her homeland. Jackie and Scott were her pride and joy. Keep your good memories close to your heart and remember her for caring and fun loving nature. Our condolences to all the family.
