Watson, Joyce Louise (nee Donovan) – Has peacefully joined the Lord and is now reunited with her husband Ronald Watson (2013) in her 71st year. Loving mother to Penny (Barry) Thompson, Robert (Marilyn) Watson and Charles (Kathrine) Watson. Also sadly missed by her grandchildren Derek, Stephanie, Jennifer, Domonick, Andrew, Nakia, William, Krystal, Garth (Shelley), Kevin (Angela), Troy (Lisa) as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Caring sister to Elizabeth, Ida, Shirley, Pat, Jody and Jim. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Louise Donovan. Special thanks to her PSW’s Xin, Yan, Nancy. Friends and family are invited to Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St. Dundas, on Sunday July 16 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A service will be held in the chapel at 11am on Monday July 17. Interment to follow at White Chapel. Reception to follow at the home. Donations can be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation.

The kids were singing this today when we were talking about you Mom.
I have such wonderful memories of camping with Joyce and her family. I’m so sorry to hear this news. Chuck I had the pleasure of seeing your mom a while back and had a good visit with her. Hugs to you all. Angela (Eric, Gail and Adam) Hinkley
We will miss her smile and happy spirit. Our sympathy to the family.
We will all miss Joyce for her smile, and love in the hardest times where she was always able to provide some advice to my mom in making her life choices with best intentions. She and Ron were generous of time and many laughs over holidays that we got to enjoy their amazing decorations and toys as kids. Joyce would fill us with sugar and send us home but not be;ore sharing lesions of why we needed to not make mom and dad mad or we wouldn’t come back for more next time.
I’ll maybe never know how my mom and Joyce met but know our family was better for having known her and having her influence in our lives. With greatest sympathy and sorrow we share with you. My regrets we can’t make the service Chucky but if you need anything let us know.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts are with you and our prayers to give you strength to carry on in this time of the loss of your loved one. Keep her memories close to your hearts and her love will stay with you forever.
Always such a blessing to serve and laugh with. She will be dearly missed by her M&M Meat Shops staff.
I well miss my friend greatly. She came into my life at my time of need. We shared may laughs and also sorrows. She will always be with me.

We have just heard of Joyce’s passing and wanted to pass on our condolences. Joyce was always full of kindness and warmth – always a friendly face. It was a pleasure to know both her and Ron even for such a short time when we became neighbours. We only wish we had met them sooner!
It is clear Joyce and Ron left a legacy with their lovely family – They are and will be missed.
