I was saddened to read of Frank’s passing, and my sorrow is shared by my family, all of whom had at least one memorable meal at the Country Willow. But Kate and I also had Frank as a neighbour, and he and Jean were the best neighbours that we could have wished for. Even before I saw today’s notice, I was thinking of Frank and Jean, for the lilac that borders our properties on Hwy 8 is now at its scented best and I remember how it gave pleasure to all of us and how sprigs of lilac often found their way to the dining table.
Jean, my love, take care and know that you and Frank will not be forgotten by those of us who had the privilege of knowing you both.
Im very sorry to hear of Franks passing, the few times I got to see Frank he was always singing, making jokes and smiling. My condolences to his wonderful and loving wife Jean and his family.
