Nesbitt, Clare Louise (nee Grightmire) – Peacefully at home after a brief illness on Monday, January 12, 2015, in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Robert “Nezzie” in 2009. Loving mother to Robert (Petronella), Barry (Daniela) and Cathy. Loving grandmother of Jesse, Robin, Elizabeth, Christopher, Kira and Andrew and great grandmother to Lucas and Mila. Clare Louise loved her garden, loved to travel, a glass of wine and Matty. Friends will be received by the family on Friday afternoon and evening from 3-5 & 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street Dundas. Funeral Mass Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. at ST. JOSEPH’S VILLA CHAPEL, 56 Governor’s Road, Dundas. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. On Thursday January 8, 2015 in her 86th year. Heaven has received a new angel as Hazel has joined her beloved husband Don, mother Muriel and father Harry. Loving mother of Bruce (Marg) and Brian (Teri). Cherished sister of Eileen (Don) Burns of Fergus and “Spooner” to brother Don (Beth) Lockhart of Braeside. Predeceased by step-sister Elva (Ken) O’Hare of France. Much loved grandma to Brenda (Adam), Brett, Kenzie (Jamie), Brodie, Brock (Melissa), Jamie Lee (Tommy) and Bryna (Dave). Great-grandma to 7 and counting. Dear friend to Bill & Olive Bleach, Gord & Kay Guthrie and Allan & Irene McMillan. Hazel and Don were long time members of Westside Baptist Church of Hamilton, York Road Baptist of Guelph and Bethel Baptist Church of Fergus. Mom and dad shared many happy times with family and friends at their cottage on Little Hawk Lake in the Algonquin Highlands and she always felt it was her responsibility to make sure she had plenty of fresh muffins, home-made strawberry jam and a pot of fresh coffee to serve the lucky ones that happen to be spending the weekend with them. The family would like to thank the staff at The Meadows LTC in Ancaster for their care and support. Friends will be received by the family on Sunday afternoon and evening from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where the Service for Hazel will be held Monday morning at 11 o’clock. Cremation has taken place. Donations made in Hazel’s memory to the Alzheimer Society, Jewels for Jesus, 6655 Kitimat Road, Unit 5, Mississauga, ON L5N 6J4 or a charity of your choice would be kindly appreciated by the family.

Mackenzie, Elizabeth “Liz” (Henrech, Kamphorst, Barker) – Passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on Thursday, January 1, 2015. She will be deeply missed by her partner Bill Kamphorst. Loving mother of Jennifer Fanjoy (Brian), Nancy Henrech-Bain (Richard) and Scott Henrech. Cherished Grammie to Stephanie, Melissa and Brian Jr. and her 4 legged grandbabies Wiener and Cujo. Predeceased by her parents Gerty and Bill Mackenzie. Will also be missed by her “sister” Sandy Snelling. Friends will be received by the family on Saturday morning at 11:00 until the time of Liz’s Service at 12:00 noon at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Cremation has taken place. If you so wish, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.

After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Brent Dryden on December 29, 2014. Beloved husband and best friend to Janine Dryden. Loving father to Miles, Jeremy, Courtney and Jesse. Will be missed by his parents John and Gayle. Survived by his brother John and his wife Christine and their kids Darren and Jessica. Predeceased by his sister Adrienne and survived by his niece Nicole. Friends will be received by the family on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where a Celebration of Brent’s Life will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place. A special thanks to all the staff on “C4” at Juravinski. Forever grateful to Jen Wiernikowski for being our guardian angel throughout our journey.
