December 23, 1923 – January 12, 2015
Suddenly at the St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday January 12, 2015 in her 92nd year. Cherished wife of Peter for 67 years. She is predeceased by her sister Rosette and will be sadly missed by many cousins in Belgium and her special friend Millie. Friends will be received by the family on Thursday from 9:30 am until the Funeral Service for Jeannine at 10:30 am at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Hamilton/Burlington S.P.C.A. or the Hamilton Alzheimer’s Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
I am so saddened by the sudden passing of Jeanine. She and Peter have become a soft spot in my heart, and I truly miss her sunny smile and cheery disposition.
These two lovely people had such an unconditional love. I’m sure Peter is devastated.
Both would come to me every month for massage and reflexology. It was my joy and privilege to spend one morning every month helping to ease one discomfort or another. We usually slacked off somewhat during the winter months as driving in the bad weather was always a worry.
I would dearly love to attend the visitation and funeral, unfortunately a virus has me keeping to myself.
Not even sure who will be reading this, but please pass on my condolences to the friends and family, and particularly to Peter.
Always in my thoughts. Rest in peace my dear.

I was with you Maraine few days ago & Peter too… I will never forget you,… you are in my heart until we meet again….
I am also glad I drove there to be with you 2…. So many years of wonderful friendship & affection, laughs too, you have supported me in pain & loneliness for so long…. I cannot go to your funeral but I will be at church here, when the weather is better I will drive to go see Peter & together we will visit you… On a sunny day perhaps the flowers will last…
God bless you & take care of you until we meet again…. M
I am so sorry to hear of Jeannine’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you Pierre and your family.
With sympathy,
