It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Anna Urban, on Wednesday December 3, 2014 in Victoria, BC. Formerly from Hamilton, Ontario, Anna is predeceased by her loving husband, Dr. Janusz Urban. She will be greatly missed by her children George (Jody), Marie and Ola (Bob). Anna was the loved “Babcia” to Stefan, Janusz, Cathryn, Mathew, Marek and Melanie. Our mom will remain in our hearts forever. A funeral mass will be held at St. Augustine’s Church, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas, Ontario on Tuesday, December 9th at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saanich Penninsula Hospital Foundation which can be done on line at sphf.ca.

Saddened to hear of the passing of your Mom. I have fond memories of your Mother, and of your Dad, from my sixteen years in your Dad’s office. She has lived a long life, and this is her time. May God bless you all, and give you His strength and His peace during these difficult days.
George, Marie, Ola: my heartfelt condolences to you and your families on the passing of your dear mother. My memories of her go back to my early years. Her laughter, her problem getting her boots off, the delicious meals she would serve after our Algonquin Park camping trips. And of course, that Gabor accent. A wonderful lady, a terrific mother and a person loved by many. Always remembered.
