Ethel was one of the world’s greatest women! For more than fifty years, she was my Mother’s most gentle and loving friend. They called each other “Kissin’ Cousin” because their maternal grandmothers, generations back, were related.
Please accept our deepest sympathy in the passing of your Mother- Wehave many great memories of fun times at your parents home back in the 60s-such fine people who will be sadly missed. Now they will be together again. God Bless you all. Love Paul & Sandy

Grandma….surely will be missed. Some of my fondest memories are up at Grandma & Grandpa’s. The big rocking chair, cooling off in the metal tub in the summer, peanut butter and raspberry jam sandwiches for breakfast and always having to be quiet when the lotto numbers came on. 🙂
Henry van Dyke: “A Parable of Immortality”:
I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand and watch until at last she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sun and sky come down to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says, “There she goes!”
Gone where? Gone from my sight – that is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and just as able to bear her load of living freight to the places of destination.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says, “There she goes!”, there are other eyes watching her coming and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, “Here she comes!”
Love Trevor
So sorry to hear of her passing. Our deepest sympathy goes out to all of you and your family.
Always

So sorry for your loss
So sorry to hear of your loss. May she rest in peace.
Ethel was such a dear friend of my Mom Jean. I remember going to their home on the 7th concession and Robie teasing us like crazy and Ethel trying to get him to stop. The older boys would chase us younger kids out of the house and Ethel would try to get them to stop. I think she spent most of her younger life trying to get those boys to stop teasing us kids. But that is what my memories are. She was always laughing and smiling. I spent her 85th birthday with her, Barbara and my sister Evelyn – it was by far one of my most wonderful memories I will cherish of a dear, kind lady. I will miss her…
