RCAF WWII Veteran – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at the age of 89, with his family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Shirley. Dearly loved and missed by his sons Terry (Darci) and Brian (Donna) and his daughter Sharon (Joe Houston); grandchildren Karri (Jamie), Lori (Oliver), Evan and Olivia; great-grandchild Jacob and lifelong friends Stan and Grace Bojeski, Laura and Fred (Bing) Bringleson and his very good friend Ron (The Swede) Burak, along with many more friends and family members. A special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa, Cedar Grove South Wing for all their care and kindness given to Larry. Friends will be received by the family on Sunday, September 28, in the afternoon and evening from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where Larry’s Service will take place on Monday, September 29, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment Grove Cemetery. If you so desire, donations to the Hamilton SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
