Aglor, Gordon Russell – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Russell Aglor at the age of 85. Gord leaves behind his wife Doreen, his Sweetheart through 64 years of marriage. He is survived by three cherished sons and their wives; Steve and Mary Jane, Doug and Cindy and Gord and Laurie. A proud Grandfather to 7 grandchildren; Michelle (Henrik), Julie (Graeme), Mike (Tammi), Jeff (Jen), Tyler (Jenn), Kody (Cass) and Kyle and 6 great-grandchildren; Annika, Ben, Pierce, Chase and Paige. Gord is survived by one sister Ruth Helm. Many thanks to the employees of University Plaza in Dundas for their many acts of kindness to Gord. Thank you to Dr. A. Kronenwald and the doctors and nurses at Juravinski Hospital for their excellent care. Gord was the proud owner of Hemingway’s Grocery in West Hamilton for 44 years. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.

Our sincere condolences to all the Aglors, especially Gord, Laurie, Tyler, Jenn, Kyle, Kody & Cass. Your father/grandfather was always pleasant to be around and although we have not seen him for a few years, we do remember times spent with him fondly and his wonderful pies!
The greatest mark any parent can make in our time here, is the raise children who are wonderful people as well, as this what the rest of the world truly sees. Gord and Doreen’s children and grandchildren are excellent representatives of their parents/grandparents and how well they were raised – a wonderful family. Our thoughts are with all of you as you say your goodbyes and may he rest in peace.
Steve, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
The good Lord will now welcome him into his garden as he begins his eternal life.

Dear Doreen and the entire Aglor family. I was deeply saddened to learn of Gord’s passing.
