To Jean-Paul and family, hold on to your good memories of your Mom. Sorry to hear of your loss
To all Gwen’s family,
I knew Gwen for the 5 years I taught at Lynden School. She always had a pot of coffee on the go, and we shared many cups together. It was fun to visit with Gwen in her little office in the basement of the school. It was always decorated for the season, or whatever holiday was taking place. She was a very loving person who cared about keeping the school in top shape, and helping out the children and the staff in any way that she could.
I am very sorry for your loss. May fond memories of her give you comfort.

To all of Gwen’s family,
I was fortunate to have taught at Lynden School, and have many great memories of Gwen. She was a talented, creative, hard working, fun loving woman. Gwen always gave so much of herself to the school and the community. She made a beautiful cake for my sister’s birthday and taught me how to make bows! We spent time at the Lynden Legion with Gwen and remember her winning onion contest entries! Gwen will be missed by so many people. I feel blessed to have known her. My thoughts are with you at this most difficult time.
Our condolences to the family. Your mom will be fondly remembered by all the kids who went to Lynden School. My daughter never missed the chance to submit a poster for the Remembrance Day contest. There will be some big shoes to fill.
I knew Gwen for over forty years and we worked together at Lynden P.S. She always went way beyond her job description . She taught my class of grade three dances and we went to ” tour” with our show to retirement homes and lodges. She was a talented lady with flower decorations and cakes. When I was in hospital she made a flower arrangement that looked like my poodle mix. At the Legion we had serious times and great fun times. She was a special lady with a lot of talent. She had that beautiful light inside.
I am so sorry for your lost. I remember helping John Woodward with the family get together’s and all the fun that was had at them. Gwen was a very sweet wonderful lady and will be missed.
Dear Jean-Paul and family
Thinking of all of you, and remembering so many wonderful days in Lynden. Your mom was a wonderful role-model for children at Lynden Public school, and in the community, and a great friend. she`ll always be with you.
