Dear Stella and Alan,
We are really saddened by Bill’s death and will miss him dearly at church on Sunday. He was a model for all of us. Also Peter will miss having someone to talk about the English/Australian test matches and he is reluctantly pleased that England won the last series for Bill. We hope that you have the strength to cope with another funeral and that you will contact us if you need any help at all in these difficult days.
Your are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love Barbara and Peter
Stella and family;
We are not able to be with you Wednesday, but know that you are in our prayers as we all give thanks for ‘Dad’s’
Life. We will miss his cheers for the Tiger Cats and his constant presence at Sunday worship.
Dear Stella, Alan and Rachel:
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
We have many fond memories of Bill but one stands out for our family.
Bill made a lasting impression on John’s Mum, Effie. Effie brought Condor Long Cut pipe tobacco from Scotland for Bill a few years ago. The next day the most beautiful bouquet of flowers arrived for her from Bill as a thank you. She had not received flowers from a gentleman since her husband Tommy passed away years ago. She was so warmed by the gesture.
It was a thoughtful gift from a very thoughtful gentleman.
He is missed.
John and Suzi, x
