Freeman, Lena (nee Stolar) – Passed away peacefully with her family nearby on Monday, September 23, 2013. Predeceased by her husband William E. “Ted” in 1987. Dearly loved and missed by her daughter June Byrne (predeceased Michael – 2007) and her daughter Deirdre and her son Ted and his children Justin and Becky and Lena’s great-grandson Roman. Predeceased by her parents Phillip and Katharine Stolar and sisters Anne and Mary. Friends will be received by the family on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Lena’s service at 11:00 a.m. at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. Interment Grove Cemetery. If you so wish, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Hi June, this is Beverly’s eldest daughter. I remember your mom very fondly, she was an awesome cook and always welcomed us the few times we would visit as children….I would love if you would contact me, i left a voicemail on your phone oct 23, i’m wanting to do a geneology of your mom’s side of the family. I only got to speak w/her once this past summer. Again my heart goes out to you, not sure if you know my mom (anne’s daughter) passed dec 8 1987…i understand the void and pain of not having a mom.
