Sorry to hear of the Hawk’s passing. Just wanted to say a few of his old buddies, myself (Wayne Peters),Ron Wilson, Bill Williamson,Brian Lavery and Kevin Cornell were golfing at Flamboro Hills this past Sunday when Doug’s name came up. There were a few great baseball stories that went around. Great memories from the”HAWK”

Played ball with Doug in the Dundas Fastball League during the 70s. So sorry to hear of his passing. I will always remember the HAWK!
Very sorry for your loss, Cathy. Our sincere condolences.
Having known Doug for nearly sixty years, there are many fond memories we shared. He will be sadly missed.
Doug & I were in the same classes all through Parkside High School, the same “H” classes in Grade 9 through 12.
I lost track of him until he started working at A&P with my wife, Judy.
He will be missed.
Just read this and am saddened to learn of his passing. I moved away from Ontario a few years ago and lost contact with my old friend The Hawk. Played fastball with him, fought with him over Yankees-Red Sox and Habs-Bruins rivalries, but always stayed the best of friends. He was one of a kind and will be missed.
