Peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 following a sudden illness at the age of 76. Linda is survived by her son, Jay, and daughters Lee (Tony Rumleskie) and Sherri Southall (Anthony Cassano). She was an amazing grandmother to Sophie and Lily Cassano and Zoe and Jackson Rumleskie. Linda was the loving daughter of Jeff and Bette Nunn (both deceased), sister to Maureen Nunn (deceased) and Mike Nunn (deceased). Survived by her sister-in-law Karen Nunn, nephew Michael Nunn (Hans Daetwyler), and nieces Mari Beth (Kyle Davis) and Megan Nunn (Kevin Stoddard). Great Aunt to Ella Davis. Linda will be missed by extended members of the Southall family and many lifelong friends. Friends will be received by the family for visitation on Friday evening, March 17th from 5 – 9 p.m. at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, also where Linda’s Service will be held on Saturday, March 18th at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. March 31, 1942 – March 13, 2023 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing Robert on March 13, 2023 at the Hamilton General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Delores (1990), his granddaughter, Rebecca (2020) and his siblings Lillian (2007)and Norm (2020). Loving father of Joseph Gibson and Roberta Katz (David). Cherished grandfather of Johnny (Lyssa), Jordan (Meredith), Jason (Brian) and Noah. Great Grandfather of Mason & Hunter. Bob will be greatly missed by so many friends and family especially his siblings, Shirley, Don (Linda), Mary (John), Betty & Moe, brother-in-law “Unc” John (Jane, 2020) and daughter- in-law Sherry Gibson. A special thanks to Elna Keating for her love, support and care for Robert (Bob) long before his short battle with cancer. Bob was a retiree from Stelco Canada Works & Lake Erie Works. died peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton in her 91st year, surrounded by children and grandchildren. Marjorie’s greatest joy was her family: husband Grant (d. 2011), children Blair, Lara, and Martin, her children-in-law Pam, Paul and Roberta, grandchildren Cole, Dylan, Emily Rose, Monty, Nicola and Trevor (d. 2018). She loved them all “a bushel and a peck.”
Marjorie came to Canada in 1940, one of the thousands of children evacuated from Britain during the Second World War. The fact that she viewed this as an adventure really set the tone for her life. She hiked, canoed, cross-country skied, and endured long operas with husband Grant. These – at times arduous – activities often yielded only a few sublime moments, but since they were adventures, Marjorie always found them worthwhile.
Though she embraced Canada as her new and permanent home, Marjorie never lost touch with – or her affection for – her family back in the UK and in New Zealand and Australia.
Marjorie was a great friend who valued kindness above all other virtues. But if anyone praised her kindness, she usually deflected the compliment, quipping “Oh, yes, people stop me in the street to tell me how kind I am.” It is certain that any pedestrians she encounters upon the ethereal paths she now treads will be doing just that!
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the St. Peter’s Palliative Team for making Marjorie’s last days quiet and dignified.

Of Dundas, Ontario died peacefully on Friday March 3, 2023 in his 81st year. Predeceased by his partner of over 40 years, Carol Cook (Sales), he leaves behind his daughter Deb Tallevi (Jason) and step-sons Jim Cook (Carol) and Cam Cook (Linda) together with six grandchildren Emma, Abby, Ben, Spencer, Damien and Gabriel. He is survived by his brothers Murray Jamieson (JoAnne) and Dean Jamieson (Sandy). Gary dedicated his life to service. From the age of 15 until he retired 42 years later, LCol Jamieson served with the Department of National Defence Reserves. His career started with 424 Squadron, RCAF Auxiliary before moving to the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. He went on to command 23 (Hamilton) Service Battalion and to hold many senior staff level positions at various headquarters. He ultimately returned to where he started in high school, the RC Air Cadets commanding both the 700 and 845 Squadrons. He was passionate about contributing to the lives and development of these young cadets. Gary was an active supporter of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 36 in Dundas and served in its colour party until his passing. While experiencing many different jobs in his life, he spent the last 25 years in service to the Ministries of Municipal Affairs and Housing as well as Community and Social Services within the Ontario Provincial Government. He was able to travel to many parts of the globe through his lifetime, loved spending time with his grandchildren and found pleasure in eagles, airplanes, ‘bunny wabbits’ and the many cats that kept him company on his journey. He impacted more people than we could ever count and will be sadly missed by his family. A short service will be held at 11am on Thursday March 9th, 2023 at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main, Street, Dundas.
Devison, Linda – Passed away peacefully at the “Nora Frances Henderson Hospital”, on March 1, 2023 in her 75th year (Birthdate: September 11, 1948). Predeceased by her loving husband Sandy Devison (January 2014). They shared 43 memorable years (31 years as husband and wife). Dear sister of Fran Rempfer, sisters-in-law of Nancy (Val) Nugent, and Yvonne Jones. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Marjorie Child, infant sister Patricia, brother Albert, brothers-in-law Bill Rempfer and Roy Jones, and mother & fathers-in-law Martha and Sam Westcott and Hector Devison, and her best friend of 60 years Donna Bennett. Step-mom of Martha (Bill) Robinson, George (Darlene) Devison, and Michelle Clark. “Granny” will be lovingly remembered by Steven (Nikki) Traver, Lyndsay (Kyle) Prytula, Justine (Jeff) Atherton, Danielle (Kevin) Stewart, Lane (Keely) Clark, Chloe (Brendan) Sevigny, Drew (Breanne) Clark, and Korri Robinson. Extremely blessed “Great-Granny” of Reece and Kayden Traver, Deacon and Blaise Prytula, Mason and Kara Stewart, Patrick and Elliott Sevigny, and Tahlia Atherton. Great-Great Aunt of Victoria Browning, Mikkel and Arija Steffen. Linda will be especially remembered by her second-cousin Denise Hart, and her precious cat “Manilow”. Linda was a secretary for Atkinson Engineering Inc. for 35 years (retired 2010); former Membership Director and Life Member of the Hamilton Air Force Association; one of eight members of the “Gab and Shuffle Card Club” for over 35 years; and a 99-year member of the Barry Manilow International Fan Club. Linda’s ashes will be buried at Grove Cemetery, Dundas with Sandy where they will spend eternity together. Friends will be received by the family on Monday, March 6th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Turner Family Funeral Home 53 Main Street in Dundas where Linda’s Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. The family wish to express their gratitude to Dr. Aljama and the staff at Juravinski Hospital (or as Linda always remembers it as “Nora Frances Henderson Hospital”) for their excellent care especially during her final days. Born in New Brunswick on March 28th, 1936. Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, at the age of 86, on February 23rd, 2023. Predeceased by her husband Nazaire Roy, brother’s Frederick, Leo and Aldonce, sister’s Beatrice, Valida, Delina and Marcella. Survived by her brother Isador (Helen) and sister’s Elizabeth Ann Brideau (Jean Guy), Evangelina Frenette (Lucien) and sister Mary Ann Legacy. Loving children and spouses Marcella, Susan, Doris/Doe, Raymond and Roger. She leaves a legacy of 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

It is with great sadness that Donna Marie Campanelli (nee Nardella), our cherished wife, mother, nonna, sister, and friend, left this world into the arms of God on February 18, 2023, in Hamilton, Ontario. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband and the love of her life, Joseph. Donna Marie is lovingly remembered by her three children, Michael (Jari), Mary Ann (Greg), and Paul and her four adored grandchildren, Maya, Jude, Sophia and Leah. Daughter of the late Lorenzo and Gaetana, survived by her siblings, Madeleine, Larry, Linda, and Rosemary and the late Louise, John, Loretta, and Joe.
Being a mother and grandmother was her greatest joy in life. Her love of life could be caught in the sparkle in her eye when dancing with her grandchildren.
Donna Marie was born on June 6th, 1938. Graduating in 1961 as a registered nurse from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Hamilton. Donna Marie travelled and worked in south Texas before returning to Dundas to start a family and enjoy a 35+ year career.
Donna Marie had the remarkable ability to strike up an animated conversation with those she had just met and lifelong friends alike. You could always expect a captivating and kind conversation. She loved to travel, journeying to many corners of the earth, exploring exotic foods and cultures; before it was fashionable, she was always a trendsetter.
Her Catholic faith was ever-present in her life and gave her strength, hope and inspiration. Her faith and capacity to endure adversity with dignity and grace were unsurmountable. She belonged to many prayer groups and always enjoyed her time with friends in faith. She had a special devotion to St. Jude, the Divine Mercy, and Our Lady Undoer of Knots.
She will be celebrated and remembered for her gregarious spirit, kind, loving heart, and positivity in the face of adversity. Her smile could light up a room. She was a tour de force.
Friends will be received by the family on Monday, February 27th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28th at St. Augustine’s Church, 58 Sydenham Street, Dundas, and celebration of her life to follow. Age 86, passed away peacefully, February 14th, 2023 with family at her side. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, November 29, 1936, the fourth and last child to Violet and Clifford Doherty. Predeceased by her brothers Jim and Bob and sister Betty. Beloved wife of the late Ernie Preece of 56 years. Although they never had children of thier own, Joan and Ernie enjoyed spoiling many nieces and nephews, plus great nieces and nephews. Joan lived a full life as a wonderful daughter, wife, aunt, and friend. She worked for 23 years at Valley City Manufacturing in Dundas, Ontario, retiring at the age of 64. Along with her husband Ernie they started the Hamilton Studebaker Chapter and spent many hours at car shows. Joan was known for her entertaining stories which she loved to repeat often, her love of animals, great sense of humor, puzzles and trashy magazines. A rare combination of someone who had a love for life and a firm understanding of what was important. Joan will be fondly remembered by both family and friends. Friends will be received by the family on Friday, February 17th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where Joan’s Service will take place on Saturday, February 18th at 10:30 a.m. Private burial will take place. McEachern, Dorothy May (nee Simpson)- Suddenly at her home on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, in her 95th year. To Dorothy, family was everything, she was the beloved wife of the late Al (1997), and loving mother to Dave (Cyndy) McEachern and Carol Carte (Chuck), and grandmother of Kyle McEachern, the late Adam Carte (2018) and Aaron Carte. Predeceased by her 4 brothers; Earl (2003), Bernard (1945), Harold (2014) and Ralph (1986). As per Dorothy’s wishes, cremation and a private family interment have taken place. Donations in Dorothy’s Memory would be appreciated to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Al, on February 11, 2023. Beloved husband and best friend of almost 59 years to the late Lois (nee Hannah, predeceased 2017). He was the much loved father to his four children; Ken Harper(Brenda), Cheryl Heslop (Joe, predeceased 2022), Doug Harper, and Janet McEachern(Darcy). He will also be very much missed by his 7 grandchildren who were the loves of his life and his biggest fans, Nicole Harper(Joel), Rachel Harper, Michelle Dueker(Brian), Jessie Heslop, Benjamin Harper, and Matthew and Jacob McEachern. He also leaves behind 7 great grandchildren. His support, love, and dedication to his family will leave a void but will forever be remembered and cherished by those who loved him.
