Passed away peacefully at Fairview Lodge, Whitby, on October 31, 2021 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late James. Cherished mother of Linda, Peter (Wendy), and Michael (Susie). Loving grandmother of Brandon (Naomi) and Sarah (Stephen). Great-grandmother of Azuki, Zinnia, Miya and Bexley-Raine. A private family service will take place at Turner Family Funeral Home, Dundas.
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Paul Dennis Turkstra on October 30, 2021, after a brief battle with melanoma cancer. His earthly presence will be forever missed by his wife Jennifer Chitty, son Bryce, mother and father Elaine and Ron Turkstra, brothers Mark (Tanya) Turkstra, Andrew (Julie) Turkstra, Ian Turkstra, sister Marisa (Pat) Arnold, grandmother Lilian Searby, fathers-in-law David (Michelle) Chitty, Richard Gibson, sister-in-law Jessica (Johcey) Greene, brother-in-law Jared (Crystal) Chitty and his many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was a deeply loved and cherished uncle to nieces Emily, Addison, Maya, Payton, Brianna, Shylah, Alyx and to nephews Tyson, Joseph, Anthony and William. Predeceased by his grandfathers Wilfred Turkstra, Dennis Searby and Lynn Taylor, grandmother Trudy Taylor, mother-in-law Sherry Gibson and Cousin Michael Bennardo.
Paul will be fondly remembered at Smith and Long as the dedicated Manager of National Accounts where he was always willing to share his knowledge. He was known as a great guy with a good sense of humour and a true friend. He loved coaching his son’s hockey team and was a loyal fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was happy when golfing, fishing, travelling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. He was a loving and caring husband and father. He was a truly gentle and giving soul.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 4th at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St, Dundas, from 2PM – 4PM and 6PM – 8PM. A funeral service will be held at St. Augustine’s Parish, 58 Sydenham St, Dundas, on Friday, November 5th at 10AM. Due to the current restrictions, seating is limited.
Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of the ICU at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and to Dr. Richard Whitlock for their compassionate care and support.

Weaver (Ruth), and Denise (Ross) Anderson. Cherished aunt of Don, Sarah (Joe), Lisa (Dan), and Megan (Johnathan). Caring grand-aunt of Hailey and Lily. Cremation has taken place. A private interment will take place at a later date at Mount Zion Cemetery, Copetown. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital, on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Arlene (nee Bowman) (Willis) for 48 years. Loved father of Ruth Giles (Ian) and Joan Richardson and step-father of the late David Willis (Diane) and the late Marilyn Gater. Cherished grandfather of Kim (Duane), Brad (Terri), Todd (Becky), Geoff, Rob (Dawn), Kelly (Brent), Amanda, Amie and Jocelyn (Cam) and thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Hilda Robinson and the late John Gallifent and brother-in-law of George Bowman (late Joan).
Herb was a veteran with the RCAF serving overseas in WWII, a long time employee of Westinghouse and a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 36, Dundas. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

12 July 1983 – 18 October 2021 Christopher died quietly at home. Beloved son of Katie & Ed Henderson. Missed by brothers Chad (Lianna), Sam(Mandy), sister Jenn(Chris), and grandmother Annette White. Predeceased by his brother Justin, uncle Ricky White, and grandfather Rodney White. Beloved nephew of Anne Wood (Jim), Ernie White, and Shelly White, and nieces & nephews. The family would also like to mention his dear, dear friend whom Christopher loved and who gave so very much of himself to Christopher’s life: Paul Chappel.
Christopher walked to the beat of his own drum, being very involved in and volunteering for many arts and LGBTQ organizations. We are so grateful to Christopher’s medical and social helpers, especially his dear Dr. Hugs: Dr. Eric Movsesan & staff.
