O’Neil, Kathleen Eleanor

February 21, 1947 – February 7, 2019

Passed away on Thursday February 7th, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in her 72nd year. Survived by her loving daughter Peggy, caring grandchildren Taurean (Kristin) and Avery. She will be sadly missed by her cousin David and niece Georgina. She was loved by many friends. Predeceased by her parents Annie and Roy O’Neil as well as her siblings Maureen and Daniel. Cremation has taken place. There will be no service or visitation.

Cutler, Terry Robert P.Eng. – It is with profound sorrow and tremendous love in our hearts that we announce the passing of a cherished husband, father, and grandfather on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the age of 80, surrounded by his loving family at the Hamilton General Hospital. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. He was the beloved husband of Beverley for 58 years. His greatest joy was to spend time with his sons; Rick, Randy(Margaret), and Rob[deceased](Kim). He was devoted to his six grandchildren Natalie (John), Bailey (Jon), Jordan, Katelyn (Trevor), Kyle, and Emily. He is predeceased by his parents Anne and Eldon Cutler and two brothers Vince and Keith. He leaves four sisters Sylvia (George), Diane, Christie (Ron) and Nancy. He spent his career in the corrugated paper industry. Friends and family are invited to Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St, Dundas, on Friday February 8th from 6-8p.m. and again at Christ Church Anglican, 92 Highway #8, Dundas on Saturday February 9th from 12-1p.m. with a service to follow at 1:00p.m.. Donations can be made to the ALS Society.

Fortner, Lenore Eileen “Lynn”  (nee Ryckman) – April 10, 1947 – January 23, 2019

At Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, Lenore passed to join her parents, Harvey and Thora, and her brothers, Marvin and Lloyd. Left to miss her love are daughter Kim (Rob) Pigg, grandson Kyle (Tamra) Max and family, sisters and their families Sandra (Roy) Zwerver, Jennifer, Kevin and birthday buddy Emily, Aldeana Ryckman, Tammy, Shannon and Wendy.  A celebration of life will take place Saturday, February 9, from 2-4 p.m., downstairs at the Dundas Legion, Wentworth Room.

Holton, Gwenyth Eleanor “Gabby” (nee Webster)

April 25, 1923 – January 29, 2019

Holton, Gwenyth Eleanor “Gabby” (nee Webster) – Peacefully with family by her side at Amica Dundas on Tuesday, January 29 in her 96th year.  Predeceased in 2007 by her husband of 58 years Charles Chipman “Chick” Holton and in 2015 by her son Lindsay (Ann). Survived by her daughter Sally Holton (Stephan Ireland) and sons, Charles Chipman Holton Jr. (Helen), Clay Holton (Patty Harkness) and Andrew Holton. Grandchildren Elinor (Rene) and Corey Ireland, Ben (Kristin) and Matt (Brittney) Holton, McKenzie and Sydney Harkness and great-grandchildren Finley, Hunter and Hendrix Holton.  A private family service is planned.  The family wishes to thank the staff at Amica and Dr. Macaluso for their wonderful care and compassion.

 

McArthur, Kenneth Robert

March 1, 1939 – January 31, 2019

McArthur, Kenneth Robert “Ken” – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Dearest husband of Gail (nee Burrows). Father and stepfather of Kathy, Lorne, Jeffrey, Kelly, Bonnie and Jonathon. Grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 2. Ken will be deeply missed by his family, extended family and community. He was a well respected lifelong member of Rock Chapel Church and a 50 year Mason. Ken was an only child but had a large extended family. His ethics of hard work, honesty and respect will always be remembered by those who had the honour of knowing him and seeing him at the Cactus Parade in his dad’s old Dodge Pickup truck. Friday night Pub nights in the shop will be quiet, but will carry on. Friends will be received by the family on Sunday afternoon from 1-4 at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, where the Service for Ken will be held Monday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment Grove Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Cattel Centre. Expressions of Sympathy to Margaret’s Place (St. Joseph’s Villa) would be appreciated by the family.
