It was with great sorrow I learned of Barry’s passing. He was a good man with a great sense of humour. I recall fondly listening to him sing at church on Sunday mornings at Bloem. Take comfort in all your memories and in the knowledge that you will one day be reunited in a place where there is no sorrow or despair. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
Cora and Family –
We have so many memories of growing up with Barry at Grace Baptist Church … and then of a continued association as teenagers and young adults at Bloem Church. Be assured of our thoughts and prayers for you all in the coming days. May you find God’s comfort and peace as you cherish past memories.

Just sitting here remembering all the great times we shared with your Dad at your parents house in Toronto, along with all the great memories of your Dad chasing us around at the faith mission youth weekends. Bishop Family,
Today I am saddened to learn of Barry’s passing. He will most definitely be remembered by all the kids of Bloem avenue. He was truly a gentleman and a great person to look up to as a kid that roamed the church. He taught us about the role of the church and how to respect each other. I thank him for all that he gave to us and for the time I got to know him.
