Hurren, Ronald Douglas
Passed away suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital on June 9th, 2024 in his 80th year.
Ron will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his wife of 56 years, Marion; his children Brian (Amanda) and Cara (Tom), and his granddaughters Maddy and Julianne. Predeceased by his parents William and Vera. He will also be greatly missed by his brother, Roger, sisters Sharon and Lorie-Anne as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews, other extended family and friends.
Ron was a longtime teacher at Parkside High School and member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Dundas.
A private service for Ron will be held at Turner Family Funeral Home on Friday, June 14th, officiated by Reverend John Read. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 31 Sulpher Springs Rd, Ancaster.
I was saddened to see the notice about Mr Hurren. I was in a couple of his history classes at Parkside and I remember him as a kind man. I graduated in 1984. Condolences to the family.

Dear Marion My sympathy on the loss of your husband Ron. I have good memories of times together at Knox. Warren died on May 15th so we share the grief of recently losing a spouse.
