March 25,1932 – January 3,2024
Surrounded by family and loved ones in her 92nd year, our mother Louise passed peacefully at The John Noble Home in Brantford where she lived with Alzheimer’s for the last 6 yrs. She leaves behind her loving husband of 72 years, Edward William deLottinville and 3 children, Marie Parent, Janice Noble, and Edmond deLottinville , 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Louise was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family came first. Louise was born in Saint Godefroi, Gaspe, Quebec, and was one of 14 children. She’s predeceased by her parents Edmond and Emilie Essiambre (Cormier) siblings, Lionel, Clovis, Hecter, Theo, Claude, Aliene, Simone, Juliette, Patricia, survived by Emilie, Donat (Pauline) Sr. Henriette, Sr. Anne Marie.
Mom loved to entertain. She had a real talent for cooking, baking and was an excellent seamstress. She was formally a culinary cook at the Wentworth Lodge in Dundas and worked as a housekeeper/caregiver for many years. Her presence and smile will be dearly missed.
Thank you so much to the staff and caregivers at The John Noble Home. Your dedication, compassion, love, care and respect for our mother will not be forgotten. You were not only her nurses and caregivers, she knew and loved you as her extended family and friends.
Service to take place for the immediate family.
Donations can be made to The John Noble Home in Brantford or to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society.
So sorry for the loss of your Wife and Mother Louise.
I met Louise by accident, she was in a single car collision while I was on my way to Brantford. I sat beside her in the passenger seat, holding her hand while calling Mr. deLotinville and awaiting First Responders.
The short time I spent with her, I never forgot her gentle demeanor. I was pregnant at the time and she was so concerned about my well being.
Rest in Peace Louise.
Of all the many aunts in my life,, none were any better at sharing kindness and positive thoughts. You touched so very many of us, Aunt Louise.
A life well spent!
Dear deLotinville family on behalf of Cathy and Connie’s aunties we are sending you all our sincere condolences to her loving husband Edward and children. It is so difficult to say goodbye

Ed and family,
My deepest condolences on the passing of Louise. She was a very sweet and kind lady and it was a pleasure to have had her as a neighbour during the years John and I lived on White Swan Road.

For the first time in my life, I will call you Louise. Oh, dear, sweet Louise. How I miss you. The Louise I knew so well for so many years is still on her journey and I do not expect to catch up to you. But I have memories and many of them. Some are run-of-the-mill – and not that ol’ rumour mill, either – some are sad while others are very sad. But, oh, Louise, the thousands upon thousands of fond ones overshadow all else. My memory works just fine. I can almost hear your laughter; can definitely imagine it. Hopefully our load gets considerably lighter on the next leg of the journey. I’m not ready yet but, while I’m still here, you will forever be in my heart, Louise. Get a good rest before that next door opens. Love, as ever…
