Letty was one of my favourite aunts. She lived a long life with wit and grace.
I know her family will keep her memories alive within their families.
My thoughts are with you all.
What a pleasure it has been for me to get to know Letty and her family this last year. I’m going to miss her.
As a childhood neighbour, I have many fond memories of Letty. Her beautiful smile and cheerful personality. Lynn and Bob…. may the sadness of your loss, soon be replaced with the wonderful memories you have as well.
Hugs
Julie
Very sad to hear of Aunt Letty’s passing. My first memories of her go back to the early 1940’s when visiting Grampa and Grama Pierces and Letty and Ann would be there resting after working in a war supporting factory I in Hamilton all week. Being a little youngster she really impressed me.
Unfortunately, geography has prevented us from visiting much in the recent years. She was an extraordinary Lady and possessed the determination and grit that all the Pierce girls had. Our condolences to the family
