Peter, (a.k.a. the Duke of Dundas) passed away recently with family by his side at St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas, the town he loved. Peter was the loving husband of Gail (nee Smith), proud father of Camille, Darren (Heidi), Troy (Lonie), Corey Smith (Carolina) and David Smith (Laura), grandfather of Rachel, Nicole, Evelyn and Arthur, and great-grandfather of Serenity, brother of Robert (Ken), Larry (Vicki), Don (Paulette), and uncle to their children. He was born and worked in Hamilton at Stelco for most of his life and enjoyed darts, curling, baseball, golfing and playing poker with his poker buddies. Many thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa for Peter’s care. If you wish to make a donation in his memory, please consider St. Joseph’s Villa Foundation. Cremation has taken place.
