Passed away peacefully the morning of September 11 in his 87th year. Loving husband to Etta for 62 years. He will be dearly missed by his two daughters Elaine (Malcolm) Clarke, Julie (Steve) Harris and three grandsons Cameron, Christopher and Daniel. Jack was an avid sports fan. He curled for many years at the Dundas Granite Curling Club. His love of soccer was never more apparent when watching his favourite team Motherwell. He was the most devoted husband, best dad and greatest Papa our family could have asked for and he will be forever in our hearts. A private family service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their gold standard service.
Carol Cassidy and Paul Sehl would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Etta and family. Jack was a great guy. We have many happy memories of golfing with him and looking for those lost balls.
Our Deepest Sympathy to you Etta and your Family. We will always treasure the wonderful memories of you and Jack and time spent with our Family and all the Happy times spent at the Cottage. He will be forever in our Hearts. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

To Etta and family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy with the passing of Jack. He was a kind, caring and delightful person who was willing to help any one especially a newbie at curling. One fond memory of Jack, dressed like an elf, was at a Christmas party at the Granite Club in 1981 or 82 .
Again, so sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear such sad news. Marcia and I will always remember the crazy times on and off the ice with you both. Montebello comes to mind immediately. There were lots of laughs, quite often at his expense but Jack often laughed the loudest.
Unfortunately as time goes by it’s easy to lose touch but losing touch doesn’t mean you lose the memories. Stay well and smile when you think of Jack.
