February 4, 1934 – March 22, 2019
It was with great sadness on March 22, Maisie Belle Mysak’s family and friends gathered by her side to say “bye for now”. A tired angel, she was called home to rest after bravely living life for many years with Parkinson’s. Predeceased by her husband Peter. Loving mother to Mark Landon (Niki, Liam) and Paul Landon (Cathy). Caring grandmother to Jessica Landon and Grace Landon. Survived by her sister Carolyn (Tom) McGregor and her brother Donald Forbes as well as her niece Mary-Anne Forbes (Joshua). She will always be remembered for her genuine caring ways, along with her amazing sense of humour and wit. Maisie’s love of life, family, and friends radiated the room and brought happiness to all. She will be affectionately missed, and never forgotten. Maisie proudly worked for the Hamilton Board of Education for many years, teaching the primary grades and later on, the special education class. Many thanks to the staff at Regina Gardens Long Term Care for the kind care for Maisie over the last two years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Parkinson’s Society. Friends and family are invited to Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St, Dundas, on Wednesday March 27 from 4 p.m. – 5p.m. with a Celebration of Maisie’s life at 5:00 p.m..
Our prayers and thoughts are with Maisie”s family throughtout this difficult time. May God bless her soul. May she rest in peace. From the Corion Family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul, Cathy and all Family & friends. Maisie will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
