FLEET, Orval Ross Alexander “Scrub” – The family of Orval is saddened to announce his death in his 83rd year after a battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Forever loved and remembered by Dorothy, his wife of 58 years. Predeceased by his son, Craig. Loving Dad of Sandy Slack (Mike) and Gregg (Joanne). Cherished Papa of Kyleigh, Tyce, Sydney and Hailey. Dear brother of Blake (Laura) both deceased, Blanche (Bruce), Ralph (Jean), the late Howard (Jennie), Phyllis (the late Vernal “Pete”), Lorne (Wanda), Ivan (Kathy) (the late Olive), Marian (John) and Margaret (the late Murdoch). Brother-in-law to the late Lois (Alan). Uncle Scrub will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Proud partner and operator of Fleet Brothers Ltd. for over 50 years. Family and friends will be received at TURNER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 2–4 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment at Mt. Zion Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.

I have so many wonderful memories of Scrub, like him tormenting our Chihuahua Pepe just to get me riled up ☺. I can still see the twinkle in his eye.
