To John, Diane, Jason and family; Roger and I were so sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful mother. On occasions over the years when we were fortunate to be in her company, we found her to be a gracious, fun person with a lovely pride in her family and their many accomplishments. May all that love continue to embrace you and your families now and in the years to come.
My sincere sympathy on the death of your Mother, Dene.
I was fortunate to be the Director of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Hamilton during her tenure there.
She was a bright, pleasant and an excellent nurse – a nurse’s nurse.
She will be missed.
May she rest in peace and God give you strength at this difficult time.

Our condolences to the Family.
So very sorry to learn that Dene has passed away. The beautiful memories I have of Dene and your family are many. The many years we worked together at Neil’s office gave us the opportunity to share our families growing experiences. She was such a proud wife, mom and grandmother. Her love for her friends was also so loyal. Anyone who had the pleasure to call Dene their friend knew they could always depend on her. The years have gone by too quickly and it saddens me that I didn’t get to spend time with Dene over these last few years. Please accept my deepest sympathy to you John, Karen, Diane, Scott, Jason, Jennifer and family. I am sorry I am not able to be there tonight. I have a nasty bug and felt it wise not to spread these germs. When I think of Dene a smile always comes to my face over all the memories I have of her, Dick and the rest of you. Hugs. Carol Hilson

John, Diane and Jason,
Your mom will always be Aunt Dene to me. She was lovely, in my memory, as a mother, a wife, a grandmother, a friend, a taker in of bad dogs. I hear her laugh, I think of her when I bring out Christmas every year for my kids, with the musical Rudolph things she gave to them on their first Christmases, so many years ago now. I am so very, very sorry for your loss of her. She will remain fondly in my heart for as long as I live. Laura
Dear John, Karen, Kyle and Taylor,
