Long time resident of Dundas, Eileen died peacefully on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, in her 94th year. She was predeceased by her husband, Keith, and is survived by her children Michael (Holley), Tim (Sharon), and Kelly. She was a very important part of the lives of her beloved grandchildren, Ian (Megan), Robyn (Caitie), Heather (James), Lyndsey (Marcel), Stephanie (Lewis), Rachel (Erik), and Mackenzie. Also much loved are her great grandchildren, Hunter, Theo, Jade, Charlotte, Hendrik, Wyatt, and Lucy.
Eileen was a well liked member of the Dundas Seniors Euchre Club. With her husband Keith, she also belonged to the Dundas Airforce Club for many years. As well, she was a constant presence at the Dundas Blues hockey games, and was a strong supporter of the Dundas Little League, and Dundas soccer.
Later in life, along with Kelly, Eileen bred championship bearded collies, and travelled across North America showing them.
A funeral service will take place at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas, on Thursday, June 11th, 2026 at 12:00 p.m., followed by a light reception, and then an interment at Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.
