I used to see Jessie roaming around the hallways of 2C assisted living at First Place and thought that she was a very, nice gentle woman. I even went to her 100th Birthday party. I’ll miss Jessie very much. Hugh.

I send my deepest sympathy in regards to the passing of a wonderful, amazing woman that shared so much with me when I entered the Smith family in 1963. At that time the late Vernon was my husband. Over the years I have often thought of her but under the circumstances I only talked to Jessie over the phone. I will not be attending the visiting or the funeral because of these circumstances. Memories last forever and Jessie will be in my thoughts every day and again my regards to you all with what you will be going through the next few days. May Jessie’s memories keep a smile in your heart.
With heavy heart
Carole McEwen (Smith)
Dear Anna, It was so very long ago that I would play at your house on Sodom Road. I found the notice of your mother’s passing while searching for my cousin’s notice. Reading it brought back many memories. My sincere condolences and will hold you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. I now live in Calgary AB. Feel free to email me at mlr5@shaw.ca. Peace and blessings to you. Sincerely Mary Lou Hess (now Robillard)

Sorry to hear of Aunt Jessie’s passing. She was a very loving, strong and determined lady who maintained her zest for living throughout her life. An inspiration to all of us.
Our apologies for not being able to visit nor attend her funeral, but we are currently out of the country on vacation. We will call and visit following our return.
