Passed away with honour and dignity at 102 years of age on Saturday, October 17th, 2026. She is remembered for a life of loving, caring, and resilience.
Cherished mother of Tony (Maureen), Philip (Joanne), and Roger (Julie). Beloved grandmother of Jennifer (Jeff), Colin, Scott (Erin), and Bryan (Misty). Dedicated great-grandmother of Leo, Luke, Avery, and Aubrey.
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Aleksander Antony Maciej (December 5th, 1997), and by her parents, Frank and Gladis Whipp, brother Stanley Whipp, and sister Jean Howlett.
Betty was born on July 25th, 1924, and grew up in Southport, England, becoming a WAAF in 1941. She then immigrated to Canada in 1952 with her family.
