Our deepest condolences to you Tom ,Marlene and Brendan and extended family on the very sad passing of Marlene .You are all in out thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time .May she rest on peace .
I cut Marlene’s hair for two decades. We met in the playground when our kids were in kindergarten. She was steadfastly loyal, kind, respectful and even in the darkest of times never complained – always asking about me and my family. Her beautiful, intelligent, pure spirit always evident. We shared many conversations in my private salon and I grew to love her. May she Rest In Peace.

Thomas. I’m so sorry to hear the sad news about Marlene. Sending condolences & sympathy. Helen Brennan & Family
Sincere sympathy to you and family. We had the lovely meeting in Waterford a few years again.
There will have been great distress helplessly watching Marlene’s losing battle with cancer. However, she lives on in the memories of all those who loved, or just knew her. What you have arranged, Tom, sounds lovely.
Des Cowman, Waterford.
Dear Tom, Emily, and Brendan:
I am so sorry for the great loss you must bear in the loss of your wife and mother. Shortly after reading the news of Marlene’s death, I reflected gratefully about the years we were colleagues together at Redeemer. St. Paul’s words about the ‘fruits of the Spirit’ came to my mind: ‘love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, gentleness, and self-control’. (Galatians, 5: 22-23)
I don’t think I’ve ever known anyone who so fully embodied those virtues. May your lives continue to be enriched by her Godly witness.
Tom, Brendan and Emily, so sorry to hear of Marlene’s passing. Thinking of you all at this difficult time
I am so grateful to have known Marlene — a truly lovely person, embodying all that is most gracious about living a consistent Christian life. May she be loving the next world, with lots of flowers and trees in Jesus’ presence!
Tom, I’m so sorry to hear the sad news of Marlene. RIP. Mo chomhbhrón dhuit. Apologies for the late response.
Emmet.
