Into God’s care Manfred passed peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas, on June 26, 2022 in his 88^th year.

Manfred was an electrician at Stelco of Canada. He was an active member of Mission Baptist Church and through his love of music, was a choir director for many years. In his spare time Manfred loved to fish and travel with his wife, Maria, of 64 years.

Manfred was the son of Felix Donnerstag and Evangeline Wittchen (Reinhold), beloved husband of Maria, loving father to Anita Baker and Helga Bohach (David). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Caitlin, Joshua, Eric and great-grandchildren Ruby, Bentley, and Gracie. Manfred is also survived by his sister Eva, step-siblings Eugene (Helga), Victor (Eileen), Helga and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St, Dundas, on Monday July 4^th @ 1:00 PM, followed by a Service at 2:00 PM. In keeping with the family’s wishes, a private family interment will also take place at White Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Joseph’s Villa, where Manfred resided for many years, would be appreciated.
