Jack said “goodbye for now” and went to be with his mom. With great sadness we announce the passing of Jack, the beloved son of Ernie and Mary (deceased) Bodden of Dundas. He is survived by siblings Ernie (Deborah), Bob (Lee), Janice Pilkington, Jo-Ann (Steve Peters) and Jim (Jody). Many family members have special memories of their time with Jack and he thanked us with his warm, wonderful smile. His big, beautiful family who loved and cared for him at Rygiel Home will never be forgotten. Their unwavering and constant dedication for 53 years of his life has been remarkable. A private celebration of life is to be held at a later date. If you wish, donations to Rygiel Support and Community Living in Jack’s name would be appreciated.

Jack,
You were my inspiration, my hero, my role model. I couldn’t be more proud to be your brother. Give mom a big hug/kiss from all of us. So glad that you are now able to walk and talk for the first time.
Until we meet again, Jack.
Love you!!🙏🏼❤️

Dear Bodden Family,
My sincerest thoughts and prayers to Jack and his family. I met Jack once when Jim and I played in Chatham together. Jim and I spent another fours at college together and I know how big of a hero Jack was to him, he talked about Jack all the time and his love for sports. Jack, your able to play yours sports now and can hear the “Go Jack Go” chants. God bless you and your family at this time

Love to the Bodden family, we’re so sorry for your loss. He was very blessed to have each one of you in his life, hope your memories of his bright smiles will cheer you in the days to come.
My deepest condolences to Mr.Bodden, Jim and the entire Bodden family. My heart breaks with the passing of Jack. He had the biggest smile and the biggest heart. I have some great memories with Jack. Going to the Dundas pool with Jim taking Jack swimming and spending time at the Rygiel home visiting him as well. Jack loved his strawberry milkshakes and coffee as he got older. But most of all his family.
Gonna miss my chats and duo calls with Jim talking to Jack. RIP Jack Bodden.
Love, Steve McFarlane “MICK” # 11
My deepest sympathy and condolences to Ernie, Jimmy and the Bodden family with the passing of Jack. We have many great memories with the family during our times of travel baseball with Jimmy, and became great friends with Ernie, Mary and the family over the years in Dundas. Thinking of all of you during this time of sorrow.

Jack, WOW, it has been a long time since we saw you ,but all these years ago it was a joy to be with you ,,especially at Foxbar. You enjoyed life so much. Swimming at the villa every week . You insisted on laying at the edge of the pool, you rolled in on your own steam ,and “uncle Bill” had to fish you out. this process was repeated a few times while you were killing yourself laughing. Never mind us !! We could tell you secrets in your ear, and that was also hilarious. Yes we had some good times, that,s for sure. Except if you did not get your coffee in time, that made you grumpy .We will never forget you Jack , you were one special guy !!
So we say ,RIP and that means ,REST IN PEACE JACK you have deserved it
And to the FAMILY you were so lucky to have had him , and Jack YOU ,Our thoughts are with you. Bill and Ank Cowan
