Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on January 29, 2022 in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Bob for over 52 years. Loving mother to Laurie (Louis) and Dan (Shannon). Caring grandmother to Ryan, Leah, and Connor. Predeceased by her parents James and Catherine Hunter, her brother Bill and sister Linda. Survived by her siblings Roger (Mildred), Jim, Don (Eleanor), Donna (Butch), Doug, Cathy (Ian), and sister-in-law Ann. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She played in the DWSA for many years. The family would like to give special thanks to Cathy, Ian, Susan, and Ann for their support. A private family service will take place on Saturday, February 5th from 1-2:30p.m. by invitation only at Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main St. Dundas., followed by a Celebration of Debbie’s Life for Friends at the Hamilton Air Force Association, 128 King St. E. Dundas, from 3-6p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory to the MS Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
To Bob, Laurie & Dan – Please accept my deepest condolences and try to cherish all the wonderful memories. I defiantly had some great times with your family, while camping at Bingemans. Mr. (Bob) & Mrs. (Deb) WALTERS were always so welcoming and always made things entertaining. I have always enjoyed hearing about your family thru updates from the Wicken’s.
