Peacefully passed away at the age of 83, on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at St. Peter’s Residence in Hamilton. Predeceased by her parents Myrtle Lampman and David Muir, her sister Arlene Stables and brother David Muir. Suzanne had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who all adored her. She was retired from International Harvester/Case. The family thanks the staff of St. Peter’s Hospital (Dogwood Terrace) for their wonderful support. A private graveside service will be held at Holy Sepulchre, Burlington at a later date.
Rest peacefully Aunt Sue. I have many fond memories of you. Your beautiful porcelain dolls, shining your silver trinkets and many laughs at family dinners. Your love for your pup Buttons and also traveling. I am blessed to have some of your rings that you gifted me years ago and also a 2 dollar bill that I will always cherish. Thank you for being a loving caring Great Aunt.
Anima Christi
Soul of Christ, make me holy
Body of Christ, be my salvation
Blood of Christ, let me drink your wine
Water flowing from the side of Christ, wash me clean
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
Kind Jesus, hear my prayer
Hide me within your wounds
And keep me close to you
Defend me from the evil enemy
And call me at the hour of my death
To the fellowship of your saints
That I might sing your praise with them
for all eternity. Amen.
Sue, you started as a neighbour and then became a very special friend. Coffee in the mornings, painting ceramics, doing puzzles, rummoli with the neighbours, trips to the States, so many laughs and treasured memories.
Miss you so much.
A former CaseIH employee fondly remembered as a caring and kind person.
May she rest in peace.
