Peacefully at Wentworth Lodge on Friday, December 31, 2021, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Doll) and dear father of Wayne (Dawn) and the late Gary and father-in-law of Judi. Sadly missed by his 5 grandchildren; Matthew (Terri), Natalie, Benjamin (Robin), Stephanie (Brent) and Joe and by his 4 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother and sisters. Ernest was a member of the RASC England following WW II. Friends will be received by the family on January 13, 2022 from 1 until 2 o’clock at the Turner Family Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. COVID-19 protocols will be in place, proof of vaccination and the wearing of masks will be required to attend. Dorothy and the Childs family. My sincere condolences to each of you. I remember Ernie and Dorothy coming into my shop. The two of them always had interesting conversation, banter and of course a good laugh. Ernie’s unique sense of humour was second to none.
