So sorry for your loss Rick, Cindy and family and Kim and Lee and family. Ethel was a huge part of our family out west and she always brought so much life and laughter with her when she came to visit us. We all looked forward to her visits every year and it will not be the same without her. I remember, fondly, many nights growing up, sitting up to visit with her until very late talking about everything and anything. She always loved to know about our lives and we always enjoyed all of the stories she shared with us about all of you and also about Grandpa, Auntie Ivy and Auntie Elma from their younger years. She was a person so full of life and love and she will be greatly missed.
To all of Ethel’s Family we are so very sorry for your loss. Ethel was such a beautiful person. She was just a wonderful person an we always looked so forward to her visits. It meant the world to us that Ethel was able to join us at our wedding but that was just the kind of person she was, she always went above an beyond for everyone. We are going to miss her so much, she was a huge part of our lives. So many wonderful memories with her and she will always be in our hearts. Lots of Love, Bobby & Crystal Rathgeber
Sending prayers and sympathy to you, Kim, Rick and families. So many fond memories of all the happy times we spent vacationing together. So glad we kept in touch! Think if her every time I drink coffee. I never drink coffee until she got me started. Now can’t start the day without it! Love to all

Our condolences and love to the Browns and the MacMillans. We were neighbors for many years situated between Ethel and The Browns, the BEST neighbors we ever had! Ethel treated our children like her own grandkids, showering them with love and attention. She was a great conversationalist and was always took an interested in others. Even after we had moved we would enjoy coming by for an occasional swim and we were sure to visit on Halloween with the kids to trick or treat and have a quick visit. Great memories on Briencrest! I’m sure Ethel is at peace and her heart full upon being reunited with Terri.

We really enjoyed and will always remember the trip we took to Ethel’s house staying up late to visit, the delicious meals she prepared and swimming in the backyard pool. She will be missed. Our condolences to both of you Rick and Kim and your families on the loss of your mother and grandmother. Karen and I knew Ethel and John back in the early 60’s and have a picture of your family when Rick was 2 years old and Kim was 2 months old. Karen worked with Ethel at Monarch Life and we had the pleasure of becoming friends and visiting back and forth. Our transfer to Winnipeg interrupted this friendship. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
